Today, this scruffy, lovable mutt with a face that could launch a thousand puns celebrates a milestone birthday – 10 years of unconditional love, sloppy kisses, and enough drool to fill a small swimming pool (okay, maybe a slight exaggeration).

Wrinkles wasn’t always Wrinkles. Ten years ago, he was just another nameless stray, his soulful brown eyes peering out from behind the bars of a local shelter. We weren’t on a mission to find a specific breed; our hearts were simply open to a dog in need. He wasn’t the sleekest, the fluffiest, or the most photogenic pup in the room, but the moment we met him, a spark ignited. He smothered us with wet kisses (despite his prominent underbite), his tail wagging furiously as if to say, “Pick me! Pick me!”
