Pepper’s journey has been one of strength, determination, and love, and she has become an irreplaceable member of our family. As we mark this special milestone, we reflect on the incredible progress Pepper has made and the joy she brings into our lives every day.

From the moment we met her, Pepper’s vibrant spirit and loving nature were evident, despite the challenges she had faced. Her beautiful coat, speckled with shades of gray, black, and white, and her striking blue eyes, make her a truly unique and stunning Catahoula Leopard Dog.
Overcoming Challenges
Pepper’s first year was not without its difficulties. She faced health issues early on, which required medical treatment and a lot of care. However, Pepper’s resilience and will to thrive were remarkable. With the help of dedicated veterinarians and the support of our family, she made an incredible recovery, emerging stronger and more spirited than ever.

Pepper has quickly discovered a few favorite things that bring her immense joy. Her top three favorite toys are:

- A tug-of-war rope
- A plush toy shaped like a squirrel
When it comes to treats, Pepper absolutely loves liver snacks and crunchy carrot sticks. These treats are perfect rewards after a fun play session or during her training routines.
Pepper’s Favorite Activities
Pepper’s boundless energy makes her an avid adventurer. She loves exploring the outdoors, whether it’s hiking in the woods or running in the open fields. She also enjoys playing fetch and engaging in agility training, where her natural athleticism shines. At home, Pepper loves to snuggle up with her family, basking in the warmth of their love and affection.
Birthday Celebrations
To celebrate Pepper’s 1st birthday, we planned a day filled with her favorite activities and treats. The day began with a hike in her favorite trail, where she enjoyed the sights and sounds of nature. Back at home, we surprised her with a dog-friendly birthday cake, made with her favorite flavors.
We also gifted Pepper a new set of toys, which she immediately took to and played with enthusiastically. Our family and friends joined in the celebration, showering Pepper with love and admiration, making it a day filled with joy and laughter.
