Today, we celebrate a very special milestone: Patch’s 10th birthday! It’s been a decade since our beloved Pittie mix came into our lives, and every day with him has been a testament to the boundless joy and love that rescue dogs can bring.
The Day We Met Patch
It all started on a rainy afternoon at the local animal shelter. My family and I were there on a mission to find a new friend, but we weren’t quite sure who we were looking for. That is until we laid eyes on Patch.
He was a timid, scruffy little pup with soulful eyes and a tail that wagged like a metronome whenever someone approached his kennel. Despite his rough exterior, there was something about him that instantly felt right. Patch was not the dog we had envisioned, but he was exactly what we needed.
